ROME City TOURS WALK in ROME |

HISTORIC CENTRE WALK / 2010 / From €200 - €280
::: Every day of the week / 3 hours on foot, moderate walking. |
Rome is a labyrinthine and demanding capital city without any shadow of doubt. It takes a very experienced Tour Guide to navigate literally hundreds of narrow cobbled streets, while never losing sight of the fact that different guests on the walk will be interested in exploring different things. Our Historic Centre Walk will include but is not limited to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Campo dei Fiori and the Spanish Steps, reason being that many other Walking Tours in Rome go to the same places, and we'd like to take this opportunity to draw a most distinct line between where they all converge and where we stand with regard to a forthright interpretation of how a Rome walk ought to be conducted.
But it's not just about learning, we can visit Caffè Greco (1760), popular with many luminaries including Stendhal and Goethe, Caffè S. Eustachio for the finest espresso in Rome or Caffè Rosati who serve up mountains of tramezzini. Pizza, pastries, tiramisu or gelato, we'll take you to the best spots in town for traditional Roman fare, or at least point you in the right direction. Only inside knowledge of that which embellishes what is and has always been a bustling ancient town can bring a walking Tour to life, and it is our duty to share it with you.
