Our main Private Tours, namely SACRED VATICAN, IMPERIAL FORUM, GALLERIA BORGHESE and HISTORIC CENTRE WALK are generally of c. three (3) hours duration. With regard to Bespoke Tours, timescale is entirely dependent upon where you want to go and how much you want to see. The Borghese Gallery and Museum per se restricts all visitors to two hour slots, after which our Tour continues in the Villa Borghese Gardens. CRYPTS AND CATACOMBS explores the burial chambers of San Callisto, San Sebastiano and Santa Domitilla beneath the Appian Way. Options include the Catacombs of Sant'Agnese, Mausoleum of Santa Costanza, Catacombs of Priscilla and the shocking history of the Ardeatine Caves Massacre. Time spent underground is c. thirty (30) minutes per site. Tour duration is a little over three (3) hours including limo transfers between each location. If you want to see the Capuchin Crypt, we can take you there. If your Private Tour exceeds the expected timescale (within reason), we do not charge extra. |
