SACRED VATICAN TOUR
::: Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday. |
The Braccio Nuovo (part of the Chiaramonti Museums which we always include at least in part), Etruscan Museum and Pio-Christian Museum open at completely random times. There seems to be no rhyme or reason behind the Vatican’s decision to keep them open or not and access can never be guaranteed.
The Room of Statues, Room of Busts and Vatican Courtyards can be viewed on our Sacred Vatican Tour but do not house main works of art.
The final chapter of our Vatican Tour, the Sistine Chapel, will be explained in detail prior to entrance. A strict rule of silence must be abided by therein. Discussion and debate must be conducted outside the Chapel, and even then in hushed tones. The minority will always try and take photographs using their mobile phone and chat amongst themselves - please don't.
The following six pages summarize our Sacred Vatican Tour. The Pinacoteca and Immaculate Conception and Sobieski Rooms although optional, are included as they house main works of art. The Braccio Nuovo is also discussed in brief.
[Previous Page / Next Page] ** Rooms can be closed at very short notice. |
